a turnkey approach to design.
Consultation / Site Analysis
Meeting face to face is a key focus of our business. Once onsite at your property, you can tell us about your hopes for your new landscape, and we offer our two cents and work up a design brief that will form the backbone of the new vision going forward. We love to talk, and this is a great chance to do so and get your thoughts on exactly what you’re after, and what you’re not!
We also take plenty of photos of the existing site conditions, and identify any assets within the site that may come in handy knowing about later on. This forms part of our base plan drawing for the sketching phase.
Concept Design
This is what you really called us for in the first place. We’re talking mood boards, a beautiful colour plan, feature plants picked… This stage is all about getting the structure and ‘mood’ of the design right, and providing you a chance to see how it’s developing and ensuring it’s inline with your expectations. This is usually the first design meeting we have post your initial signing, and based on the project, can be between 4-6 weeks after initial signing.
Design Development + Documentation
This is where we fine tune the concept, etch out the details and select the materials. This stage we hustle to complete all the back-end of the design, which provides all the construction plans, elevations and specification documentation from which to tender and build. We do lighting plans, irrigation plans, dimesioned drawings, material take-offs for your builder, planting plans and schedules for ordering the good green stuff, and put it all together so everyone is quoting apples for apples. As it should be.
Tendering
This is where we use our expertise to ensure the best quality installation, for the best price possible. We work hard with our network of trusted and experienced contractors to set the budget and timeframe for a trouble-free process. The guys and girls we work with are the best in the biz, and we don’t recommend anyone we wouldn’t use in our own backyard.
